About
I do climate communication consulting.
I assist people in creating effective sustainability messaging.
With my background in genetics, in 2015, I got curious about how to bridge the cultural gap between the logarithmic rate of technological advancement and the linear rate of cultural integration of those technologies. I was wondering how to use my experience as a science communicator to develop tools to bridge that gap.
After many conversations with colleagues, a strong emphasis was placed on climate change and how I could help mitigate it. So, after several year in development we applied for an NSF Advancing Informal STEM learning grant to produce an entertainment-education program. That work evolved into the Rhythm and Glue screenplay, and is not being simplified as a set of criteria for producing a myriad of sustainability art products.
I’ll highlight:
Impacts of climate change on human health. This is an immediate public health crisis.
Rate of change per cost from e-e
Rate of change from PD, very high.
So, for the indefinite future, I’ll be focusing on this. Please let me know how I can assist you.
